OUR HISTORY

Freelance Players, Inc. began in 1974 as a single acting company for young people ages 8 to 16. In the 1980’s, in response to a growing demand, the Freelance Players expanded its programs by adding five acting companies for students ages 8-12 and story theater classes for younger children. Since 1974, Freelance Players, Inc. has produced more than 280 original musicals.

Our daughter loves being part of Freelance! She admires you and loves learning from you. I am so appreciative that you have created this amazing environment where the girls and the boys support each other and they feel connected to one another. Our daughter’s experience with Freelance exceeded my expectations.
